Under the name DesignOpen, members of the Eindhoven Design community open their location to the public on an irregular basis.

Born during the Covid-19 pandemic, when international design events came to a standstill, more than 20 Eindhoven-based designers and design studios — including Dutch Invertuals, Piet Hein Eek, Kazerne Design Lab, Kiki & Joost, Ontwerpduo, Sectie C and Vij5 — joined forces to collectively present both old and new work.

The aim of DesignOpen is to offer buyers, interior designers and architects, museums and galleries, media and collectors, the first opportunity to experience new design productions in an intimate, work-in-progress and surprising way.

This creative community intents to come together for the sake of design and to connect their professional networks by sharing dates, opening hours and online map.

How does it work?

Check our online map to simply see the Open Studios and create your own route.

Appointments are not necessary, you are welcome to visit the studios free of charge at your own pace, within the opening hours of the event.
