Alice Baker
Lophelia Pertusa
Coining herself a ‘sculptural modelmaker’, Alice Baker sets out to spark intrigue and wonder about the scientific and natural worlds, through the use of craft. A cum laude graduate of Design Academy Eindhoven, Alice collaborates with scientists and researchers in order to spread light on complex topics. Let her take you on an immersive journey to places normally impossible to reach – like the deep ocean or the microscopic world. With a strong visual aesthetic and affinity for glass and metal, her practice is materially and manually driven. Seeing science as inherently creative and experimental, she enjoys identifying where it leaves room for new visualisations.
You can visit her, as well as 24 other young Designers at What The Hall Collective at Sectie-C.
