Open Doors, Work in Progress

During Design Open, Studio Martens & Visser welcomes you to creative hub – De Garage in Eindhoven for an open studio visit. We’ll be working as usual, with the doors open — so you can step inside, see what’s on the bench, and talk with us about process, materials and technique.

On view are key works including EXO and Tori, alongside a range of prototypes, tests and in-progress experiments. Our practice creates “objects of wonder”: playful interior pieces and immersive installations inspired by nature and the elegance of physics. Founded by Michiel Martens and Jetske Visser (both alumni of Design Academy Eindhoven), the studio explores how light, reflection and subtle movement can transform a space and shift perception.

Expect a calm workshop atmosphere—part showroom, part laboratory—where questions and curiosity are welcome. Simply drop by De Garage (De Greefstraat 6) to experience the works up close and get a behind-the-scenes look at how they are made.
