Beautiful, useful and durable design – get inspired by hopeful new perspectives. Once again, the 2.000 m2 exhibition space of Kazerne is packed with recent work by both starting and established design talents, labels and producers.

During #DesignOpen at Kazerne – besides the enchanting exhibition Between No-Longer and Not-Yet – new work by recent Design Academy and TU/E Graduates will be on show. Curious about their vision? Some of them will be present during #DesignOpen. Keep an eye on kazerne.com for an update on the participants.

Between No-Longer and Not-Yet – Adaptism Space, Alissa+Nienke, Jet & Pieke Bergmans, Cooloo, Valeriy Kuznetsov & Otto Winken, Erco Lai, Geke Lensink, Satomi Minoshima & Pauline Agustoni, Modular, Giulia Pompilj , Jesse Visser, VanTot

We know we need to radically redesign our society, but how? Because of the entanglement of all people, animals, plants and objects, the challenge is extremely complex. Between No-Longer and Not-yet, is a place, moment, or movement in which imagining can take place. Through the work of over 30 leading designers Kazerne calls out to make sense of the potential of this in-between phase and to let ourselves be inspired by hopeful new perspectives.

The Pink House by Social label – Edward van Vliet & caring facility Pameijer Rotterdam, Dick van Hoff & Craft-atelier Social label Lab, Edwin Vollebergh, Studio Boot, Cello Zorg & Reinier van Arkel, designstudenten, Artenzo & Amarant in Tilburg

In previous years, the Social label community of designers and makers with a distance to the labor market have worked intensively on products for a socially sustainable house. The Pink House by Social label in Kazerne offers a glimpse into the kitchen, where we can be together, eat, talk and discuss, or withdraw for a while. An intimate setting where time stands still. The future of Social label lies in the democratization of beauty, ‘being’ and surrounding oneself with design of significance.
